Give me a character of mine and I will give you at least four facts about them according to my own personal canon. This can range from their birthday, favorite color or even their earliest memory up to what they had last night for dinner.

But of course. :D

1. Bill idolized his father in childhood, as many small boys do. He finally grew old enough to fully understand that his Dad didn't always defend the good guys, that Joseph Adama used his courtroom skills to secure the release of known criminals as often as he stood up for the underdog in civil rights cases. He never learned how to reconcile his deep love for his father with his equally intense feelings of betrayal, so he buried both emotions.

2. This kicked off a lifelong pattern of hiding his strongest feelings rather than expressing them, which of course left him with no clue how to deal with winding up on the opposite side of the fence in the same situation with his son Lee. Bill's strongest regrets are for the things he never said or didn't say often enough.

3. Bill and Laura talked about many things that night they got silly on New Caprica, including a series of practical jokes that "somebody" ought to play on then-President Baltar (or as Laura called him more than once, "the little prick"). By the time they were blitzed enough to actually consider attempting some of them, they were too blitzed to get up off those sandbags. It took Bill a long time to ask Laura if she remembered that part of the evening, but he knew he'd never forget it.

4. Make no mistake, William Adama is as much a functioning alcoholic as Saul Tigh ever was, but where Saul put the emphasis on the alcoholic part, Bill put it on the functioning. He had a far greater ability than his friend both to maintain long periods of relative sobriety and to keep the results of his occasional benders entirely private. Both of those abilities were tested almost to destruction during the last months of the Fleet's journey.

1. One that both Marcus and Laine would probably know: Liam's best Montana buddy Zach is one of that handful of people who knows the MacEibhir family secret. A few years ago the two boys went on a camping trip waaaay back in Flint Creek's hinterlands, during which Zach did something stupid that wound up with him badly injured. Liam contacted his Da via his ward, and Anraí decided to heal the boy with his son's help rather than waste the time it would take to get a rescue crew that far into the boonies. Zach has scrupulously kept mum about the incident, even to his parents and his girlfriend Deena.

2. Liam has had three or four times in his life when he's truly wished he could give all his abilities to Marcus and be only human. They didn't last long, but they were there.

3. Early on in his first semester of junior high football, he broke another boy's leg in a tackle. He both heard and felt the bone snap, which triggered the only time in his life he ever threw up.

4. Liam's romantic life has perhaps been a little too easy on him up to this point. Yes, he has been dumped, wound up sad, morose and what's-wrong-with-me a few times, but he has never been attached enough to get his heart what I would call broken.

5. He's afraid that he may never talk to Jansen again and equally afraid that he will.

1. Anraí has always felt, not exactly uncomfortable with indulging the fae side of his nature, but a little less comfortable than his siblings. Part of that restraint is due to a biggest-brother sense of responsibility, and part is due to spending his first ten years very close to his human adoptive sister Áine.

2. His first lost love was a young woman from Dublin who came to study the myths, legends and faerie tales of the Cois Fhiarrge area. Unfortunately her love of mythology did not make her more receptive to the truth of what the dark-haired, dimpled young man was. She went back to Dublin shortly after he told her and eventually wrote off everything he showed her as a temporary episode of hysterical hallucination.

3. He does wonder now and again if he could make a go of it as a writer like Cait has. He feels no regret for the life he's chosen, loving horses and his work as he does, but every so often that pensive what-if strikes. If Cait ever finds out about this, she'll pester him to write about his horse experiences and submit to magazines.

4. Out of all his immediate family, Anraí has the most cause to be grateful to that púca metabolism. His love of food would make him distinctly pudgy without it. If Laine enjoys having an appreciative audience for her cooking, she married one.
