Fists flying. And guns drawn. And COTTLE. And people losing it and tension and HE CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT HER.

And then they iced the entire cake with WILLIAM ADAMA IN A FLIGHT SUIT. *iz very ded*

Aw, man!

You gotta talk to me later on... like in twelve hours or something.

*looks up* Guess that third-person thing is played out for the time being.

I'm happy for you, though!

I honestly thought I could not possibly love the Old Man any more. I was WRONG.

I have to say, without actually seeing anything (where my YouTube clips, hehehe) or reading an actual transcript (just a lot of general squeeing mixed in with "OMG, he can't live without her!" and other bits of info), I actually am very shocked to hear that the Old Man actually left the Fleet, or rather, let the Fleet leave him. I thought for sure that we'd get a lot of angst about how he simply couldn't risk the rest of the Fleet for one woman (okay, and a bunch of his people and the rebel Cylons), but instead, we got this.

Re: CapSix and Tigh; This is what happens when I absolutely refuse to believe something. I might owe Lynn some money. Money that I don't have. (Anne of Green Gables festival, here I come!)

The biggest question in my mind is, how's Laura going to react to the flight suit?

That was for me a profoundly Bill moment. He spends such long stretches as the hyper-responsible Admiral, and then his emotions and gut reactions knee-jerk him into something like this. *clings*

I'm not saying it was the right decision to make, mind you ... but it was a very Bill decision to make. Lee and Saul are family, therefore he trusts them, bottom line.

Laura will probably start off torqued off at him, truth be told. We'll see if the flight suit mitigates that ...

He certainly has his moments, doesn't he? *huggles* Poor Bill.

Taking my shipper hat off for a moment, it could be said that the Admiral FAILS for the episode. He'd just found out that Tigh's been tupping the Cylon prisoner and whether it was technically against her will or not (which I'm going to assume NOT) doesn't even count, because she's still a POW. So, the obvious and logical thing to do is leave this unbalanced guy in charge of the Fleet while he goes off looking for Laura.

And don't get me started on President Leland *snerk* and his big emo hair.Yeah, I saw a screencap. At least Zarek's still hanging around. And President Leland best not get used to sitting in Madam President's office. I jest, of course. I think this is a pretty interesting turn of events for Lee's character. Can't wait to see what actually happens.

I can just see the thoughts going through Laura's head. OMGs, Bill! Ooh, flight suit... nice... Wait, where's the fleet?! You're alone? Why? What's going on? Who's in charge of your military? WHO'S in my chair right now?!

But she'll calm down. Eventually.
